Life in Molise: An Authentic Italian Experience
Nestled in the heart of southern Italy, the region of Molise offers a rare combination of history, beauty, and calm — an ideal setting for focused artistic work. The Art of Voice Opera Studio takes place in and around Campobasso and Oratino, two neighboring towns largely untouched by tourism, where Italy’s authentic charm and rhythm of life remain wonderfully preserved.
Oratino - The Artistic Home
Perched on a hill overlooking the valleys of Molise, Oratino is a medieval village renowned for its stone architecture, narrow streets, and breathtaking views. It provides a peaceful retreat where singers can focus on their craft while surrounded by inspiration at every turn. Participants will rehearse and attend classes here throughout most of the program, becoming part of a small artistic community that welcomes them as family.
Campobasso - The Stage
The final phase of the program brings singers to Campobasso, the regional capital and home to the magnificent Teatro Savoia, a 19th-century opera house with a rich cultural history. It is here that participants step onto the stage for two fully staged performances of La Traviata with orchestra — a culmination of their work in Oratino.
